Girlfriends

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was spent on small home projects, lots of movies on netflix and good food!

I've been missing my girlfriends a LOT lately. It makes me sad that I don't live in the same city as any of my 3 closest friends.

I miss the fact that I could drive over to Natalie's and watch a 90210(the original) marathon eating Peanut butter M&Ms and Dr. Pepper (Diet Coke for Nat) pretty much any night of the week.

I also miss going to Zaxby's with Emily and talking for hours before heading to Bruester's for some yummy ice cream.

I can't forget the many trips with Brooke to the local Mexican restaurants where we would stuff ourselves and have to lay our seats back in the car for a half hour before we felt well enough to drive anywhere.

I've been praying for God to put some great friends in my life down here and I've met a group of great girls at church. I am looking forward to getting to know them better and being able to have someone to be able to call when I just wanna go get coffee and have girl talk for a while.

Okay, thats enough of my sad post..on to happier things!

Im looking forward to decorating my guest bathroom over the next week or so. I have a theme in mind and a couple items picked out. I can't wait until every room in the house is decorated..but isn't that usually the time when one decides to REdecorate a room? Never ending..

Im also pretty excited about the fact that my mom is in the process of becoming a foster parent again! My parents have been foster parents off and on since I was about 3, specializing in children under the age of 3. We have always had babies in our house (or family since I haven't lived at home) and it just makes holidays more special! Im pretty sure part of the reason she started the process to become a foster parent again is because all of us kids have failed in giving her grandchildren thus far...Oh well! Now we get to be the "grandparents".  We get to come visit and love on the babies then hand them back over to her and head home when we are done ;-)

I am in the process of cleaning out my guest room/closet and getting rid of a few things to make room for more baby equipment for nannying. How do we have so much stuff? We have only been here for 4 months!

Oh, Also..update on the passport situation- We sent off for it Saturday and paid extra to have it expedited and overnighted. Yeah..seriously, so expensive but I am so grateful for my wonderful husband who thinks its worth the extra money for me to accompany him. Stress instantly lifted!

This was a pretty off the wall post going in all different directions. I apologize! Its Monday and I don't quite have it together yet :-)
